Milk is more than a mere “raw material” for us at Biraghi. In fact, our entire company revolves around milk, and ensuring the utmost care at every stage, from collection to transformation, is not only a duty but a true mission we passionately pursue since 1934.
For Biraghi company, the “journey of milk” – before it reaches the tables of our loyal consumers in the form of Gran Biraghi, Gorgonzola DOP, and our diverse offerings – begins at the stables, with the dedicated work of our local farmers.
We collect 170 million liters of milk annually from the provinces of Turin and Cuneo alone, and over time, we have carefully selected the agricultural farms that can provide the highest quality supply. We regularly visit these farms, getting to know their stories (often spanning generations of the same family) and maintaining periodic communication with the farmers. With many of them, our initial working relationship has evolved into a personal dialogue built on mutual respect and trust.
