Milk is more than a mere “raw material” for us at Biraghi. In fact, our entire company revolves around milk, and ensuring the utmost care at every stage, from collection to transformation, is not only a duty but a true mission we passionately pursue since 1934.
For Biraghi company, the “journey of milk” – before it reaches the tables of our loyal consumers in the form of Gran Biraghi, Gorgonzola DOP, and our diverse offerings – begins at the stables, with the dedicated work of our local farmers.
THE IMPORTANCE OF OUR TERRITORIO
We collect 170 million liters of milk annually from the provinces of Turin and Cuneo alone, and over time, we have carefully selected the agricultural farms that can provide the highest quality supply. We regularly visit these farms, getting to know their stories (often spanning generations of the same family) and maintaining periodic communication with the farmers. With many of them, our initial working relationship has evolved into a personal dialogue built on mutual respect and trust.

The close collaboration we have built over the years guarantees us the use of high-quality and fresh raw materials, produced by our suppliers with expertise and pride in their craft. In addition to the skill and professionalism of our suppliers, we have always added a rigorous series of controls, conducted with the most advanced technical and scientific methods, in strict compliance with regulations.
THE QUALITY OF OUR SUPPLY CHAIN
Supporting the territory and the Italian supply chain has always been a priority for Biraghi. This is where our truly unique and special bond with the region comes from. We regularly invest in the region to create job opportunities and, most importantly, to purchase milk. Over the years, our milk purchases have reached significant quantities, making us proud participants in the economy of Piedmont, with a strong sense of belonging, conviction, and enthusiasm.
